Pixel Art
Video games are where pixel art is mostly found. Today many people still enjoy the classics with pixel art as their primary form art. When technology was not very advanced, artists had to resort to pixel art, working with a small color palette instead of making high quality pictures smaller they had to carefully place every pixel down. Making pixel art on the other hand is very difficult. In order to start you have to pick your color palette, whenever you choose your colors use the basic color for your piece. There are two types of shading in pixel art. One type is called dithering. Dithering is mostly used for realistic pixel art because a dithering edge often looks like gradient to the human eye. Cel-shading is another type of shading that combines to colors. Next you have to choose the outline format. After that you may begin drawing/programing.
